Kathmandu, also spelled Katmandu or Kantipur, is the capital of Nepal. It lies in a hilly region near the confluence of the Baghmati and Vishnumati Rivers, at an elevation of 4,344ft/1,324mts above sea level. Kathmandu served as the seat of the ruling Shah family of the Gurkha people from 1768 to 2008.

Afternoon at leisure to relax.

Post breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit the sacred Hindu site of Pashupatinath Temple, on the banks of Bagmati River, before heading to Swayambhunath (Monkey temple), Boudhanath (Buddhist Shrine). Later, visit Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Dasaratha Stadium, Dharahara (Bhimsen Tower).

Post breakfast, checkout and drive to Nagarkot.

On the way, visit Bhaktapur – a medieval city in Nepal. Visit Durbar Square, consisting of amazing temples that depict beautiful architecture.

Post sightseeing, resume journey to Nagarkot.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Early morning, proceed to Nagarkot Hill and enjoy beautiful Sunrise.

Return to hotel for breakfast.

Post breakfast, checkout and drive to Chitwan.

Chitwan means “Heart Of The Jungle”. The popular Inner Terai valley gets its name from Chitrasen, the Tharu King, who once ruled here. In the Southwest corner of Bagmati Province, Chitwan lies between foothills of the Himalaya, the Mahabharat and Siwalik ranges. The region called Chitra Ban in earlier references used to be dense forest abounding in wild animals and resorted by recluse sages meditating deep in the forests.

In recent years, Chitwan National Park tops the list of things to do in Nepal. It is an exciting jungle experience with – jungle safaris, birdwatching, canoe rides and numerous other nature and jungle activities. While the jungles are teeming with wild animals like tigers, leopards and rhinos, along the marshes and rivers are gharial and marsh mugger crocodiles basking in the sun.

Post breakfast, proceed for elephant safari in Chitwan to watch rare one horn Rhino. Also explore the various wildlife animals including Yellow striped Tiger, Deers, & birds of different species in their natural habitat.

Later in afternoon, continue the jungle walk to experience varieties of flora and fauna. See the Crocodile in Narayani River and many other attractions in Chitwan.

Post breakfast, checkout and drive to UNESCO site Lumbini.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Lumbinī, a Buddhist pilgrimage site. It is the place where, according to Buddhist tradition, Queen Mahamayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama around 566 BCE.

Later afternoon, visit the Maya Devi temple, Lumbini Museum, Ashok Pillar, Shanti Deep (Peace Flame) and many other Buddha temples. Explore, the surrounding of Lumbini village and preserved area.

Post breakfast, checkout & drive to Tilaurakot.

Tilaurakot, is homeland of Gautam Buddha, therefore holy place for all the Buddhists. One can see several archaeological sites along with the Kapilavastu museum.

From Tilaurakot, drive to Pokhara through Butwal, Palpa and Syangja. The Siddhartha Highway will lead you from Butwal with scenic beauty. Travelling above the River in a curved way is a thrilling experience.

Pokhara’s pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, blue lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘The Jewel In The Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural disposition. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of the Cluster of 9 Lakes with three major ones – Phewa, Rupa and Begnas. Pokhara once lay on the important trade route between India and Tibet. The Pokhara is best known for the stunning view of the Annapurna range. It is perhaps one of the few places on earth from where mountains above 6,000 m can be seen unobstructed from an altitude of 800m within the distance of 28 km.

Post breakfast, proceed for hiking to Sarangkot hill and witness beautiful vistas.

Enjoy Paragliding (Payable locally).

Afterwards, visit Mahendra Cave, Chamere Cave, Davis Falls, Gorge of Seti River.

Later in the evening, enjoy boating on Begnas Lake.

Post breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu.

Stop at Damauli to explore the local market. Get information with sightseeing of Nepalese language’s renowned Poet and Ramayana’s translator’s birthplace, Chudi Ramgha.

Afterwards, resume journey to Kathmandu.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Post breakfast, transfer to Airport for flight to onward destination.
