You will be met & assisted on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo and transferred (83km- 2hr 30min drive) to your pre-booked hotel in Kitulgala.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Kitulgala, is a rainforest patch and offers an unspoilt rainforest environment with an abundance of endemic flora and fauna. Nestled among forested hills, a visit to Kitulgala is a terrific combination of nature and thrill. It is also one of the wettest places in Sri Lanka and home to different species of birds.

Post breakfast, proceed for trek in the rainforest to see birds and natural beauty.

Climb, into a dugout canoe across the Kelani River and then alight for a nature trek through the rainforest. The crisp and sweet birdsong will lead you to find the endemic Orange-billed babbler, Chestnut-backed owlet, Green-billed coucal, and so on. Apart from birdlife, you will also discover the rich ecosystem of trees, flowers, insects, and butterflies.

Adventure enthusiasts can alternatively join in active white-water rafting. The Kelani River is wide at Kitulgala, covering 5 major rapids and 4 minor rapids, is for anyone above the age of 10 years including the beginners. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, thrillingly ride down the picturesque river, challenge yourself with one rapid zone after another.

Later in the afternoon, return to hotel.

Post breakfast, checkout and drive to Nuwara Eliya in the misty hills of central Sri Lanka.

Enjoy, journey through winding roads and lush green valleys, tea estates on the slopes and banks of the hills, with tiny streams and water falls and the beautiful misty mountains.

Nuwara Eliya’s, has unique climate as it is often covered with mist. The cold tangy air and its fresh and invigorating atmosphere offers a typical English environment. Nuwara Eliya, situated among beautiful tea estates also has the Golf course, race Course, horses, Rose gardens and British style houses which all add up to a perfect holiday retreat, offering a level of perfection.

On the way, stop for sightseeing at the roaring Devon and St. Clair Falls, as well as touring around a tea factory and a stroll at Victoria Park. On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Early morning, checkout and proceed to UNESCO listed, Horton Plains National Park.

Witness, World’s End here as the plateau comes to a sudden end, treat yourself to a hearty picnic breakfast amid gorgeous scenery. Experience the vast open landscape and lush forest, look out for the monkeys, lizards, and deer that roam freely.

Afterwards, drive to Udawalawe National Park.

Stretching over a land of 30,821 hectares, Udawalawe National Park is famous for its large population of Elephants. Hence, this national park is ideal to observe the herds of marvellous Asian Elephants in their unique natural habitats. It is known that about 400 Elephants in total are sustaining here, while about 250 of them are considered as permanently resident.

Other than the elephants, the national park provides home for many other species of mammals such as the rusty-spotted cat, fishing cat, Sri Lankan leopard etc. The Sri Lankan sloth bear is rarely seen in Udawalawe National Park. Sri Lankan sambar deer, Sri Lankan axis deer, Indian muntjac, Sri Lankan spotted chevrotain, wild boar and water buffalo are among other mammal species that could be seen. Golden jackal, Asian palm civet, Toque macaque, Tufted grey langur and Indian hare also reside in the park. The endemic Ceylon spiny mouse was also recorded in Udawalawe National Park in 1989.

Post early breakfast, proceed for morning jeep safari to Udawalawe National Park. Witness wild elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles, lizards, etc. Post safari, checkout and drive to Yala National Park.

Post breakfast, proceed for full day jeep safari to Yala National Park.

Stretching from the inland jungles to the beaches of the Indian Ocean, Yala has a wide variety of ecosystems that provides a home to many other animals and birds besides leopards.

Explore, the park on a full-day safari. Passing through the grassy plains and along the lagoons to the jungles, spot elephants roaming in the open plain, monkeys playing amidst the woods, fierce crocodiles dozing off under the water, and magnificent leopards lounging on the huge granite boulders, etc.

At noon, you enjoy a picnic lunch under an abundant foliage or by the beach.

Return, to hotel in the evening.

Post breakfast, morning at leisure to relax.

Later in the morning, checkout and drive to seaside town of Mirissa.

Mirissa, is known as the destination for beautiful beaches and whale watching.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Post early breakfast, proceed to experience the thrill of whale watching on the morning boat tour.

Witness a variety of animals including blue whales, sperm whales and dolphins from the observation deck.

Afterwards, return to hotel, checkout and drive to Bentota.

Bentota, is a gorgeous, beautiful resort town with green environs in the background, awash with tall coconut palm trees everywhere in the landscape. Bentota is also famous for its dazzling marine life.

Post breakfast, day at leisure to relax.

With a beautiful beach, a tropical lagoon and a major River, Bentota offers various beach activities and water sports. You may enjoy the activity of your choice (Payable locally).

You may also visit, The Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project, about a 13-minute drive from Bentota.

Post breakfast, checkout and drive to Colombo.

On arrival, check-into the hotel.

Sri Lanka’s Capital Colombo, a port city, with a rich colonial heritage, on the Western coast is a pot-pourri of races, religions and cultures. Colombo displays the best and worst the country has to offer. The city is a contrast itself, with mansions, lush gardens, fine dining options, shopping malls packed with expensive designer brands standing next to urban slums; diesel fumed congested roads and street markets.

Despite its small size just 37.31 km² Colombo offers a varying selection of experience ranging from taking a tuktuk ride, a visit to Pettah market and eating Kottu to playing a round of golf and having high tea at one of the colonial style hotels overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Post breakfast, checkout and proceed for guided tour of Colombo. Visit Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, Galle Face Green, Colombo National Museum and former British Administrative Center, etc.

Later In the afternoon, transfer to the Airport for flight to onward destination.
